The classroom is all ready to go for Back to School Night. I love to look around at my room, with it's clean desks, organized library, blank white boards, and shiny posters and think about the great adventure we have ahead of us. So many discoveries and so much growth will take place in this room. However, the most important aspect of a classroom is missing....the students! A room is just a room without the unique individuals that make up our learning community. I can't wait to learn who loves horses, who loves to read books about rocks, who hates a messy desk, and who loves to play basketball. I truly believe that individual differences help each of us grow as individuals! I am counting down the minutes until I get to meet some of my special students tonight.
